Terms for Private Sellers — Fahrzüg AI
Professional working draft – final review by qualified Swiss legal counsel recommended before public launch.
As of: 23.08.2026
These terms apply in addition to the General Terms and Conditions for private sellers.
1. Ownership or Authorization
You must own the listed vehicle or hold express authorization from the owner to publish the listing.
2. Truthful Vehicle Information
Make, model, year, mileage, and other technical details must reflect reality.
3. Disclosure of Known Material Defects
Known material defects or accident damage must be disclosed. Concealment may have civil-law consequences in your relationship with the buyer.
4. Correct Mileage
The stated mileage must match the actual, documented reading.
5. Correct MFK Information
Statements about the roadworthiness inspection (MFK) may only be made if supported by corresponding evidence. If the status is unknown, it must be stated as unknown, not as "valid".
6. Correct Photographs
Photographs used must show the actual vehicle. Stock photos or photographs of other vehicles are not permitted.
7. Valid Contact Data
Contact details provided for sending contact requests must be valid and reachable.
8. Your Own Responsibility in a Private Sale
The purchase agreement is concluded exclusively between you and the buyer. Fahrzüg is not a party to the purchase agreement.
9. No Automatic Warranty by Fahrzüg
Use of the Platform does not create any statutory or contractual warranty by Fahrzüg toward the buyer. Your own obligations as a private seller under Swiss law (e.g. regarding defects in the goods) are neither removed nor limited by these terms.
